Tank should be selected to provide one gallon draw-down for each GPM of pump capacity. Air charge valve enables installer to reduce or increase pre-charge pressure depending upon pressure switch setting. Air/Water separator is rugged, replaceable seamless vinyl. Prevents the most common cause of pump motor failure water-logging. Water never touches metal. Flexible, non-porous separator resists acid and alkalies, will not impair taste or odor. Easily removed should replacement become necessary. Eliminates the need for air volume control. Rugged tank body is constructed of heavy-gauge steel with durable enamel exterior finish. Air charge is permanently sealed in the tank at 40 PSI before leaving the factory. Maybe used in multiples as an economical replacement for the large, hydropneumatic tank. Ideal for use when high capacities are required and installation space is limited. Tough, baked on finish. 5 year warranty.
